Mercer Gets First Win
MACON, Ga. – Mercer's women's tennis squad garnered its first win of the season with a 7-0 blanking of Young Harris College. The Bears (1-2) swept all three doubles matches and won each singles competition in straight sets.
Junior Jennifer Lada earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, followed by senior Amalia Bugge at No. 2, with a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Freshmen Lucie Payrat and Aurelie de Montjou took Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. Sarah Hanna won at No. 5 and Amanda Bertoni won by default at No. 6.
