Had a great freshman season, qualifying in eight tournaments for the Bears…Opened with a two day total of 175 in the Lady Paladin Invitational (September 18-19, 2009)…Shot a two day total of 160 in The Eat a Peach (October 4-5 2009)…Scored a 246 in the LPGA Invitational (October 9-11, 2009)…Posted a 166 at Boscobel Intercollegiate (October 24-25, 2009) …Shot a three day total of 248 in the Hurricane Invitational (February 14-15, 2010) …Fired a three round total of 241 at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort (February 21-23, 2010)…Had an impressive showing at the MSU Ocala Spring Invitational (April 2-4, 2010) shooting a career best 229 and finished T-12 overall….Shot a 249 in the A-Sun Championship at Venetian Bay (April 11-13, 2010)…Season average 81.6. Selected A-Sun Academic All-Conference.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIOR CAREER

Lowest competitive round is a 72 at Ontario Junior Championships placing 4th...Kaitlin had several victories and top ten finishes on the Canadian Junior Golf Association as well as the IJGT and FCWT...Greatest golfing thrill to date is proving many naysayers wrong by breaking into the 70's on a consistent basis. Kaitlin is now working with the coaches at the CORE Golf Academy in Orange County, Florida under the direction of coaches Tom Jackson, Jeff Hay, Annie Mallory and is associated with Sean Foley. Sean Foley works with a pair of PGA Tour professionals: Canadian Stephen Ames and rising young PGA star Sean O’Hair. Sean credits Kaitlin for her dedication and work ethic. “She has made big strides in a short period of time,” he said. “With her athletic strength, her potential is huge”.

Daughter of Heather and Peter Marrin… Born December 23, 1990 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada…Has one brother, Paul, and one sister, Kelly…Attended Abbey Park High School…Graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA in June 2008 and decide to take a year away from school to improve her game…Plans to major in business management or marketing.
