A-Sun All-Academic Roster Announced

MACON, Ga. – Recently, the Atlantic Sun conference announced the league’s fall All-Academic teams and Mercer’s teams had over 75% of its participants land spots on the list.

Mercer’s fall sports – men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball – saw 64 student-athletes recognized.  To be named A-Sun All-Academic, a student-athlete must achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the classroom during their semester of competition.

Mercer’s volleyball team outperformed the other A-Sun volleyball squads, garnering the highest percentage of honorees.  Fourteen volleyball players were named to the list.

Every Atlantic Sun institution had at least 54 percent of its student-athletes earn All-Academic honors.
