Men’s Soccer Announces 2011 Summer Camp Information

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men’s soccer team and the Mercer Boys Soccer Academy released its 2011 summer camp information this afternoon.

MBSA Director and Mercer men’s soccer head coach Brad Ruzzo announced two camp sessions, one in Macon and other in Warner Robins, for area youths of all ages in June and July respectively.

“We are excited to announce our summer soccer camps and provide this service for our community,” said Ruzzo. “We believe that these camps offer a great learning experience for the kids while also providing a fun soccer environment.”

The Macon session takes place from June 20-24 at Bear Field, while the Warner Robins installment will be held on July 11-15 at the CGSA Soccer Complex.

Both sessions will be available to two specific age groups, The Mini-Bears (ages 5-7) and The Junior Bears (ages 8-14). The Mini-Bears Camp will run from 9-11 a.m. and the Junior Bears Camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Academy is also featuring a College ID Prep Camp (players in grades 9-12) this year on June 25th at Bear Field. The camp allows participants to be evaluated by the Mercer men's soccer coaching staff while being on campus to experience the university's culture. The College ID Prep Camp session runs from noon-7 p.m.
