Bears Spring Exhibition Against UAB Moved Up
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer
men’s soccer team’s spring exhibition contest against
University of Alabama at Birmingham on Saturday, March 27, has been
moved up to 1 p.m. due to weather conditions.
The game was originally scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m., but had to be moved up with the threat of steady rain showers in the area.
The Orange and Black will have their hands full on Saturday against a very skilled UAB squad. The Blazers had a stellar year as a program last season, finishing with a 12-4-2 overall record and a national ranking that peaked as high as No. 14 in the country.
After Saturday’s contest against UAB, Mercer’s spring exhibition schedule will take it back to Macon, when it hosts Middle Georgia College on April 1, at 7 p.m. at Bear Field.
