2009:
One of only two Bears to appear in all 20 games last
season … started in 18 of those 20 games as a true freshman
and controlled the midfield play with his size and strength
… was highly touted coming to Mercer as he was listed as one
of the top “100 Freshmen to Keep an Eye
On” according to collegesoccernews.com …
certainly did not disappoint, finishing in a tie for third with six
points on two goals and two assists … racked up 13 shots, 10
of which were on goal giving him a team-high .769 shots on goal
percentage … earned his first collegiate point when he
assisted on the Bears lone goal in a 1-0 A-Sun win over Lipscomb
(Oct. 3) … scored his first collegiate goal in a tough 2-1
road loss to FGCU (Oct. 22) … made a huge impact on his
second goal of the season when he scored Mercer’s third and
final goal in a 3-0 shutout win over UNF (Nov. 7) in the first
round of the A-Sun Championship.
