Mercer's Mills Named A-Sun All-Tournament

MACON, Ga. - Mercer University senior forward Brian Mills was named to the six-member all-tournament team for the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Conference basketball championships, hosted by MU from March 2-5.

Mills averaged 24.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Bears' two games (a win over Lipscomb and a semifinal loss to eventual champion Belmont). He shot 47 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free throw line. His 27 points in the quarterfinals versus Lipscomb was the tournament's high individual scoring game.
