MACON, Ga. – Mercer University senior baseball player Justice French (Suwanee, Ga.) was featured in the May 11 edition of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The story and interview by the AJC's Doug Roberson recounts French's being diagnosed with a malignant melanoma on his scalp less than one year ago, to his recovery and place as one of the Bears' top pitchers in 2011.

The inspiring story of MU's right-hander is very timely in that May is "National Skin Cancer Awareness Month."
