MACON, Ga. – The Mercer baseball team's Atlantic Sun Conference opener scheduled for Friday night against Campbell has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions.

Steady rain showers throughout the day and evening forced the cancellation. The game with the Camels has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at Claude Smith Field.

Mercer will have to wait until Saturday afternoon, when it plays a double header against Campbell, to begin A-Sun play. Game one of the double dip at Claude Smith Field is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
