MACON, Ga. – The Mercer baseball team's mid-week game scheduled for Wednesday night against nationally ranked Georgia Tech has been cancelled due to inclement weather conditions.

Steady rain showers throughout the day forced Mercer to cancel the contest against the number four ranked team in the country. The game with the Yellow Jackets has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 23, at 6 p.m. at Claude Smith Field.

Mercer returns to the diamond this weekend when it welcomes Campbell to Claude Smith Field on Friday afternoon for the start of Atlantic Sun Conference play. First pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 6 p.m.
