middle relief pitcher and two as a mid-week spot starter …
posted a 1-1 record with a 7.41 ERA … struck out eight
batters in 17.0 innings of work … tied for third on the team
by picking off two base runners … started the season by not
allowing an earned run in three of his first four appearances
… pitched a season-high 5.0 innings, allowing just one
earned run while striking out a season-high three batters in his
first start of the season against Florida A&M (April 15).
High School: Lettered all four years in baseball
for coach Bubba Wilson and the Peachtree Ridge Lions … Named
team MVP in 2008 and earned second team all-county … Honored
as team pitcher of the year and honorable mention all-county in
