2009 (Sophomore): Made a team-high 32 appearances and proved to be the team’s best late inning reliever … led the team with a 3.88 ERA and .210 batters average against … earned three saves, putting him in a four-way tie for 8th place for most saves in a single season … went 5-4 on the season … finished second on the teams with 61 strikeouts in just 48.2 innings of work … led the team with 13 games finished and gave up a team-low four home runs … started the season by not allowing an earned run in 10 of his first 12 appearances … tied his career-high by striking out five batters and allowed just one earned run in 3.0 innings of work against ETSU (March 27) … pitched a career-high 4.0 scoreless innings to earn a save against A-Sun rival Stetson (April 10) … put together back-to-back scoreless relief appearances against Jacksonville (May 9-10).
