2009 Statistics

2009 (Junior): Only player to appear and start in all 46 games the Bears played last season … finished tied for third on the team with a .340 batting average … led the team in runs scored (43), hits (65), doubles (15) and hit by pitch (10) … one of only four Bears to post a .400 or better on-base percentage (.407) … had 94 totals bases, good for third on the squad … had a knack for coming through in the clutch, batting .373 (22-59) with runners in scoring position … finished fourth on the team with 33 RBI and second on team with six stolen bases … started the season off on an eight-game hitting streak, batting .483 during the run … put together five hits, four of which were doubles, with four RBI and four runs scored in back-to-back wins over USC Upstate (March 21-22) … went 7-for-16 with three home runs five RBI and six runs scored in a three-game series against FGCU (April 3-5) … tied career-high with three runs scored in a 14-3 win over Florida A&M (April 15) … matched a career-high with four hits against Jacksonville (May 10).

2008 (Sophomore): Appeared in 45 games, starting 27 … Made 28 appearances at third base, including 18 starts … Also saw time at second base and shortstop ... Contributed two RBI, scored a run and stole a base in his first start at shortstop against Florida A&M (3/5) … Went 3-for-4 and scored a season-high three runs against Georgia Tech (4/22) … Drove in a career-high seven runs while going 4-for-7 against Savannah State, slugging his first career home run (4/16). 

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 32 games, starting 13 … Tallied one double and one RBI in first game vs. Florida A&M (2/23) … Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored at Florida A&M (3/11) … Went 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run vs. Campbell (3/17) … Went a perfect 1-for-1 and scored one run vs. Savannah State (4/24) … Went 2-for-3 with one double and four RBIs vs. ETSU (5/18). 

High School: Earned four letters in baseball, three in football and two in basketball at Boca Raton High School ... Named MVP and Defensive MVP his senior season ... Notched all-county and all-area honors ... Started all four years at shortstop ... .405 career batting average.
