Mercer Drops Final Game of the Regular Season

JOHNSONCITY, TN. – Bears drop the last game and the series against ETSU this afternoon.
How It Happened
Rebeca Laudino singled to get the first hit of the game and was advance by Bailey Ledvina. Kassidy Moore was hit by pitched to juice the bases, but all were left on. Bears held in the bottom to keep it at zero. Avery Barton picked up a hit in the top of the second with ETSU also staying scoreless in the bottom. Kylie Helm singled, but would be left on. ETSU furthered their lead with two runs on two hits to bring it to 2-0 going into the fourth.
Nothing happened for either team in the fifth. Tori Hedgecock made it to second in the top of the sixth. She was left stranded. Mercer held in the bottom of the sixth, but could not get anything going in the seventh to drop the game 0-2.
