Kevin Cavooris joined the Mercer staff in August 2010 to assist Karen Donaldson in the Office of Athletic Compliance. His responsibilities are primarily related to Bylaws 13 & 17, Recruiting and Playing Seasons. Cavooris also uses his compliance experience to corroborate rules interpretations.

Cavooris spent the 2009-10 academic year at Stony Brook University in New York, as the intern in the Office of Athletic Compliance under Steve Clacherty.  His primary responsibilities were Bylaws 13 & 14, Recruiting and Eligibility. He also wrote the monthly newsletter and maintained the university's compliance assistant on the internet.

Cavooris graduated from Villanova University in 2009, where he worked as a manager for the football team. He is currently working on his MBA and is engaged to Valerie Eichelberger, Villanova '08/'11.
