Derek Rosinski enters his first season as a graduate assistant strength coach at Mercer University. Rosinski will work primarily with men’s soccer, men’s lacrosse, men’s golf, men’s and women’s golf and cheerleading.

 

Rosinski comes to Mercer after completing a strength and conditioning internship at Wofford University. While at Wofford, Rosinski worked extensively with men’s and women’s track and field and the men’s golf program. He also assisted with the Strength and Conditioning program for the 2010 Southern Conference Champion football team.

 

Before his work at Wofford, Rosinski also completed internships at Arizona State University and Maximum Performance Fitness.

 

A native of Tonawanda, N.Y., Rosinski graduated from Monmouth University in May 2010 with a degree in Health Studies. A two-sport athlete in high school, Rosinski lettered for four seasons at Monmouth as an offensive lineman for it football team.

 

Rosinksi is certified by the USA Weightlifting Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association and plans to pursue an education degree here at Mercer.
