MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis team was shutout in its Atlantic Sun Conference match on Friday afternoon against the visiting East Tennessee State Lady Buccaneers, 7-0.

The loss drops the Bears to 5-14 on the year and 1-6 in A-Sun play while ETSU moves to 13-5 on the year and 7-0 in conference to clinch the No. 1 seed in the upcoming A-Sun tournament.
