Select Mercer Baseball Games to be Aired on Fox Sports Radio 1670

MACON, Ga. – Fans can now listen to the defending Atlantic Sun champion Mercer Bears baseball team on Fox Sports Radio 1670 am for select games this spring.

The Mercer Athletics Department secured a deal with the radio station for 12 regular season games and all of the Bears postseason action.

Among the featured games to be aired are both home and away contests against Georgia, Georgia Tech and Georgia State.

Calling the action for Mercer will be “The Voice of the Bears” Rick Cameron and former Atlanta Braves infielder Jeff Treadway.

Mercer opens its 2011 season on Friday, February 18, at 4 p.m. against Big South member Liberty at Claude Smith Field.
