Appeared in 43 games, making 39 starts … Logged time in left field and as a DH for Coach Gibson … Hit .241 on the season on the strength of 32 hits … Equaled his 2008 home run output with four long balls … Also clubbed eight doubles to give him a slugging percentage of .398 … Scored 20 runs and drove in 18 runs … Six of his RBI came with two outs … Showed a good eye at the plate, drawing 15 walks in just 133 at-bats … Led the team with five sacrifice flies … Slugged his first home run of the season against A-Sun member Lipscomb (March 8) … Clubbed another home run to go along with two RBI against USC Upstate (March 20) … Had a solid series against ETSU (March 27-29), going 4-for-11 with a home run, two doubles and four runs scored … Went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in a 16-5 win over Florida A&M (April 21).
