Men's Lacrosse and Basketball Open Intersquad Games to the Public this Weekend

MACON, Ga. - Mercer University's newest sport - as well as one of the school's oldest sports - will both be playing "Orange & White" intersquad games this weekend on campus. Both events are open to the public and free of charge.

MU men's lacrosse will team will scrimmage Saturday (Oct. 23) at 1 p.m. on the new lacrosse practice field (off Mercer University Dr.), while men's basketball will be put through its paces on Sunday (Oct. 24) at 3 p.m. in the University Center.

Men's lacrosse begins its official schedule of games in the spring. Men's basketball opens up with an exhibition game versus Georgia College and State University on November 4 (all proceeds benefit the "Coaches vs. Cancer" fund).
