Get Your 2011-12 Basketball Season Tickets Now!

MACON, Ga. – Mercer University Athletics has announced that season tickets for the 2011-12 basketball season are now on sale. The season ticket package is good for men’s and women’s basketball games for the Bears.

The cost is an affordable $150 and includes all 31 regular season games, and is also good for the Atlantic Sun Conference basketball championship tournament being hosted by Mercer once again this season (Feb. 29-March 3, 2012).

“Our goal is to provide a season ticket that is both economical and attractive to our entire fan base,” said Daniel Tate, MU’s assistant athletics director for marketing. “Season ticket holders will not only get the chance to see some quality women’s and men’s basketball versus top opponents, but they will also receive the opportunity to enjoy our fan-friendly environment at the U.C.”

In addition to the A-Sun tournament, there are a total of 16 women’s and 15 men’s regular season games slated at home for 2011-12. Some of the women’s non-conference foes include Auburn (Nov. 11), Georgia (Dec. 6) and Notre Dame (Dec. 30). Some of the men’s non-league games feature the three contests of the Progressive CBE Classic subregional – including Sam Houston State (Nov. 21), Niagara (Nov. 22) and South Dakota Sate (Nov. 23) – being hosted by the Bears.
