Air Rifle Competes at Murray

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's air rifle team completed action at the Murray State Withrow Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 26.
Leading the way for the Bears was freshman
Ben Whitaker with a combined score of 515, good for an 82nd-place finish. Junior
Shep Ladson followed shooting for a total of 474 and a 91st-place finish. Sophomore John Podriznik and freshman
Billy Oliver rounded out the team scores with a 92nd and 93rd place finish, tallying 464 and 450 points respectively.
The Bears finished in 15th place as a team.
The air rifle team will be in action again on February 9 at The Citadel.
