DELAND, Fla. – Timely hitting and a two-out rally in the fifth inning propelled the third-seeded Mercer softball team past No. 6 seed Gardner-Webb, 3-0, in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament Thursday evening at Patricia Wilson Field on the campus of Stetson University.
