Mercer Announces
Junior Cheerleaders Club!

Mercer University athletics has announced that it will be offering a Junior Cheerleaders Club for girls and boys ages five and up, highlighted by a choice of two special clinics/gameday packages. The event is hosted and taught by the renowned Mercer University Cheerleaders.

Each package includes a five-hour cheer clinic on the home floor of the Bears, the University Center! During that time, participants will be taught cheers, chants and a halftime routine to be performed at a corresponding MU game. The experience will also include free admission to the game for two parents, a special performance t-shirt, a set of pom-poms, a chance to meet and get a photo with Mercer mascot Toby Bear and a Mercer facial tattoo for gameday!

Package “A” has a clinic on Saturday, December 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a gameday performance on Friday, December 10 (men’s basketball versus Navy).  Package “B” has a clinic on Saturday, January 15, followed by a performance on Saturday, January 22^nd (women’s basketball versus North Florida).

Packages are $50 per child and checks should be made out to “Mercer University Cheerleading.” Payment and a registration form must be returned by November 21 for Package “A” and by December 31 for Package “B”.  Checks and a registration form should be mailed to:  Mercer University Cheerleaders, 1400 Coleman Ave., Macon, Ga.  31207.
