The mission of the Mercer University Pep Band is as follows...

- To foster school pride and support by performing at designated athletic events.

- To represent Mercer University in the highest fashion.

- To provide good, clean entertainment for the public and student body.

- To inspire community pride in our performances, words, and actions.

 

The Pep Band program requires students that are dedicated, determined, and eager:
"Dedicated" to the performance of good music in support of Mercer's athletic teams and to their fellow band members, to Mercer University and to the community represented; "Determined" to work hard and be a visible representative of the University; and, "Eager" to do the work necessary to make the band one of the best pep bands in the country.

The Pep Band performs at all home basketball games, both men's and women's. The band is committed to serve Mercer University, the surrounding community, and the state of Georgia. Members are expected to represent the Mercer University Pep Band and Mercer University in a dignified manner at all times.
