Jason Farhadi is in his third year with the sports information office at Mercer University.

He joined the department in August 2009 and currently serves at the primary contact for the men’s soccer and baseball programs.

Farhadi came to Mercer after spending the 2008-09 academic year as the assistant sports information director at St. Bonaventure University. While at St. Bonaventure, Farhadi served as the primary contact for the women’s basketball, men’s soccer, softball, women’s lacrosse, women’s tennis and cross country programs.

A 2008 graduate of Sacred Heart University with a degree in sports management, Farhadi began his career as an undergraduate assistant in the Sacred Heart media relations office.

A native of Waltham, Mass., Farhadi was a three-year letterwinner on the Sacred Heart men’s tennis team. He tied for the team lead in total wins during his junior season and was named an International Tennis Association Scholar Athlete after his junior and senior campaigns.
